Dig your teeth into these mouth-watering oat bars, that are un-sinfully delicious! Simple, natural ingredients that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Dairy, egg and gluten-free.
1 cup rolled oats,1 1/4 cup oat flour (or almond flour), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder
1 cup mashed bananas, 1/2 cup almond butter, 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Combine wet ingredients in bowl; dry ingredients in another. Stir wet mixture into flour mixture (expect chocolate chips). Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into pan, bake 350°F for 20-25mins. Once baked, allow to cool and slice. (Optional: melt chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl, spread atop of bars and top with chopped nuts).
